We Refused to Accept “The Way It’s Always Been Done”
Field services has traditionally been an industry powered by clipboards, spreadsheets, disconnected systems, and tribal knowledge. We made a decision early on at SG that we were not going to operate that way.
Every workflow we’ve built inside Quickbase came from real operational friction. A dispatcher trying to move faster. A project manager needing better visibility. A field technician needing cleaner reporting. A leadership team wanting real-time operational intelligence across hundreds of active sites nationwide.
We did not buy an off-the-shelf playbook. We built systems around how our teams actually work in the field.
That mindset is what led to SG Network Services being named a finalist for the Quickbase Empower 2026 Operational Impact Award.
I am so proud to be the CTO of Team SG. Things like this validate the late nights, collaborations between departments and heated debates in the executive meetings. Being recognized next to some of these companies shows we're forward thinking, deploying with excellence and have technologies others lust over. I cannot express the pride I have in our partnership with Quickbase.

Building Technology Like Operators, Not Software Companies
What makes this recognition meaningful to us is that none of it was created in a lab or boardroom.
The systems we’ve developed were shaped directly by people doing the work every day. Dispatch automation. Real-time project tracking. Field reporting. Operational dashboards. Workflow visibility across nationwide deployments. Every piece was designed to remove friction and create clarity.
At SG, we believe technology should simplify operations, not complicate them.
That philosophy has helped us scale while maintaining the speed, adaptability, and accountability our customers depend on. We approach operational design the same way we approach infrastructure deployments: practical, scalable, and built to perform under pressure.
Quickbase has given SG real-time financial and operational visibility, allowing us to make faster and more accurate decisions across the business. The biggest impact has been the synergy created between finance and internal technology teams, allowing us to build smarter systems collaboratively instead of operating in silos.

Helping Push the Industry Forward
We’ve always believed the field services industry deserves better tools, better visibility, and better operational experiences.
Our goal is not simply to keep up with where the industry is heading. We want to help shape where it goes next.
Being recognized alongside organizations many times our size reinforces something we’ve believed for years: innovation is not about company size. It is about mindset, creativity, and a willingness to challenge outdated ways of operating.
We are incredibly proud of what #TeamSG has built and even more excited about what comes next.
That’s why being recognized as a finalist in Quickbase’s Operational Impact Awards means so much to our team.
